Professional Training Courses
Manual Handling Training Course
Half Day Training Course – Approx 3 Hours
We are all exposed at times to some form of risk involving manual handling such as lifting, carrying, pulling and pushing actions however to reduce dangers associated it is important that all workers, regardless of industry, understand how to prevent injury.
Our Manual Handling training course provides both theoretical and physical demonstrations to ensure each attendee is educated to take a safer approach to all aspects of their work and home life, thus reducing absences and the need for occupational health involvement.
Legionella Awareness
1 Day Course – Approx 8 Hours
This Legionella Awareness course has been designed for those who need to understand how to safely manage water systems within a commercial setting.
The Legionella Awareness training course is lead by an industry expert who will help educate attendees to understand and prevent danger to others in a comprehensive manner.
Health and Safety in the Workplace – Level 2
1 Day Course – Approx 8 Hours
Our Health & Safety in the Workplace training course provides an ideal introduction or refresher to teams or individuals across many industries. Understanding the Health & Safety roles, risk assessments and how to identify and prevent hazards within the workplace, through theoretical and scenario based training.
On completion of the safety training course, attendees will be awarded a national Level 2 RQF (Level 5 in Scotland) qualification as proof of learning.
Fire Safety – Level 2
1 Day Course – Approx 6 Hours
This course is designed for employees who want to develop their basic fire safety awareness in order to assist their employer. If you are an appointed fire warden, fire marshal or fire steward it is important that you understand the principles and best practices relating to fire safety.
Successful attendees of our Fire Safety Level 2 training course will be awarded a national level 2 qualification RQF (Level 5 in Scotland) this professional fire safety qualification does not have an expiry date however we would recommend refresher training within 3 years.
Fire Safety for Marshals
Half Day Course – Approx 3 Hours
Our Fire Safety for Fire Marshals training course covers how to evaluate, assess and manage hazards and risks associated with fire in the workplace.
All training is issued by one of the Magenta team who has the skills and knowledge to ensure all attendees have understood their responsibilities as a Fire Marshall with confidence.
Attendees will receive a certificate as proof of learning.
First Aid at Work – Level 3
3 Day Course – Approx 18 Hours
It is a requirement of the Health & Safety law that employers provide a safe and healthy environment to work in and therefore it is important that all teams receive sufficient training to ensure they have the skills and confidence to provide First Aid care.
This First Aid at Work Level 3 Training Course will give the participants a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
Our comprehensive three-day course is lead by an industry expert who covers a wide range of first aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way.

Emergency First Aid at Work – Level 3
1 Day Course – Approx 6 Hours
Our Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 training course ensures attendees have the skills and knowledge to provide their organisation with Emergency First Aid should there be a need to provide casualties with prompt first aid treatment.
First Aid at Work (Re-Qualification) – Level 3
2 Day Course – Approx 12 Hours
Our First Aid at Work Re-Qualification is designed for those who hold a First Aid at Work certificate that is due to expire.
The 2 day training course acts as a refresher training to ensure all first aiders understand their responsibilities and how to support the first aid needs of their business or organisation. Students will be awarded a further 3 years of certification on completion of training.
First Aid – Save a Life
Half Day Course – Approx 3 Hours
The First Aid – Save a Life Training Course covers the responsibilities of a First Aider, including areas such as accident reporting and use of standard equipment alongside learning key skills such as the recovery position and how to take action if a casualty is choking.
Attendees will have the opportunity to actively ask questions and those who show sufficient understanding of the first aid training will receive an attendance certificate as a record of their learning.
Food Safety in Catering – Level 2
1 Day Course – Approx 6 Hours
This is an excellent introduction to Food Safety for those working or looking to work within the catering and hospitality industries. All experience levels will learn and clarify many aspects of food safety to ensure they have the knowledge to operate safely.
This Food Safety in Catering Level 2 training course covers both legal and moral responsibilities, the importance of hygiene standards and food storage in a classroom atmosphere. An expert food safety trainer will be on hand to answer any questions and provide scenario based examples to help cement information and further understanding before attendees will complete a short assessment to confirm their understanding.
Successful candidates will be awarded a national Level 2 qualification RQF (Level 5 in Scotland) which will provide an ideal platform to go on to persue higher level training or career progression.
